Come on. Why do we need this? Just looking at the first page alone at the moment, most of these aren't even brown. I even spotted post #8273536 in there...As if the hair situation ain't bad enough...

And before that tan background and related tags. Always an attempt at fucking "off-brown" without fail for some reason with these bad color tags. I don't know why. Especially since they always go horribly wrong almost immediately.

The wiki for tan background actually directs people to use light brown instead, so that ought to be updated. Should the same list of alternatives from beige background be good?
Yeah. In fact, looking at tan background is what prompted me to make this BUR, seeing that tag there as opposed to, say, brown background.
I've updated the tan background wiki.
What I've learned from the past few weeks is that taggers love colours to everyone else's detriment.

Feels like half the time the colors are wrong too. But that's probably because their color judgment is subjective and mine is objective, and everyone else's color perception needs to move to match mine. (joking but also how does post #8325893 have a purple dress)

imo assuming white and black are sacred colors reserved only for purest white/black, this is going to have to be tagged yellow

Sorry, I disagree and would tag that white background without a second thought.

I would tag it brown or grey, if someone tagged it white I would think they are colourblind.

The answer was cream background apparently as to the next attempt lol. On the one hand I sorta get it. Some of these backgrounds are hard to tag and many are basically dependent on the tagger it seems.
On the other hand, this is exactly why we will never have an off-white tag, no matter what people try.

Grey. I'd tag that grey.
I think it's too warm for grey and I don't think it's brown since it's too light.
But yeah the fact that no one can agree is why none of these attempts or any of the super granular colors work.
Arguably one could push for an off-white_background color tag, but I don't think anyone wants that.
