I'm not saying that they shouldn't imply it if they exist.

I'm saying they shouldn't exist at all much like towel colors or curtain colors.

I was going to keep the imply to move the posts to it before deprecation, but I'll remove the lines.

Ah, I see. Thought that was an error of some sort lol. Maybe a mass update could work?

Understood.
Sorry for the extra work.

I overlooked the rules for curtain color etc.

It's fine. Was there once myself in regards to some tags. The important thing is that you learn from your mistakes. These tags are simply too granular to be very useful to the average member coming here to browse. There are numerous underpopulated tags or concepts that people legitimately want to search for, but they are too obscure for people to know about, or there is no tag for yet. These tags are the ones I'd reccommend focusing your efforts on (though make sure to run any big tag ideas through the forums to avoid a duplicate tag or ambiguous tag situation).

I accept that color tags will be deprecated.
Is there a chance that these color tags will be nuke?

I can see it, yeah, but these tags are so small, one could easily clean them out in an afternoon after being deprecated. Which I suppose is a nuke on its own, as deprecation locks the tag from being added.

I'd been using the colored ones just because they were there, but I agree that they don't really make sense and aren't something I'd actually search for with that granularity. About the only specificity I could see being interested in is to distinguish between magic circles that are on the ground (often for summoning and similar) vs ones floating in the air (for casting spells). Not sure whether others agree with that being useful, but not all of the first sort are going to be stood on, and there's likely a non-zero number of floating magic circles that a spellcaster is standing on to achieve flight.

There's also the sitting on magic circle, magic circle background and magic circle floating ahead hand tags.

Okay, that last tag would absolutely be useful, and I never would have guessed that it existed, given it's currently sitting at just 41 images tagged with it.

That said, I was mostly meaning a way to tag this style: post #9006690 vs this style: post #8959583, neither of which are covered by any of them, though any tag that covers 8959583 is likely going to be implied by magic circle floating ahead hand. (Though that's a very awkwardly named tag, and as I pointed out, it wouldn't necessarily apply to magic circles floating ahead of a wand or mage staff, though I suppose a wiki would help there...)

I agree that a better tag name is needed.
I had considered the situation where a magic circle appears at the end of a weapon such as a wand, but I couldn't decide whether it was necessary to distinguish this from a magic circle at the end of the hand, so I didn't add a tag to 8959583.
