Tagging a character with multiple names?

Posted under Tags

I've been uploading character art from a game lately and I'm not sure how to tag a character that has a "new version" who is basically the same but has a different moniker. For example, a character is normally "Lady X" but then a different character is Lady X when she's older/younger and has a new title in the game, "Flourishing Lady," or something like that (in game she is considered a different character and can interact with Lady X). Or she is from a different dimension or different timeline, "New Lady," "Changed Lady," etc. etc. Should I tag the new character with multiple character tags, all the names she is referred to in game? Just her original name? Just the new name for the new character?

(If those examples are a little confusing, I can use the real names)

If all of them are Lady, then they should have Lady as an umbrella tag, and then have individual subtags for each version of Lady (Lady X, Flourishing Lady, Changed Lady, etc).

Gilberta (Arknights), Trunks (Future) (Dragon Ball), etc. are all separate from their counterparts but are all lumped under the same shared tag. However, they can be kept separate if lumping them together makes no sense, ala Saber Alter or more recent examples like Herrscher of Sentience or the nuking of umbrella tags like Robin (Fire Emblem) where only one half got a lot of engagement.

Thanks, that makes sense. So would that mean requesting an alias/implication after making some of those posts?
