Just been thinking abt if we really need Inkling player character and Octoling player character as umbrella tags. The Inkling girl and Octoling girl tags are both the waaay more popular options than their male counterparts, and surely cases of ambiguous gender can just be handled with inkling/octoling species tags + 1other and potentially original, right? Guess the only other thing to account for are depictions of the swim forms.
