mass update blacked_female -> race_fetishism -blacked_female
rename blacked_male -> male_qos
rename femblacked -> reverse_qos
rename blacked_parody -> race_fetishism_parody
create implication queen_of_spades_symbol -> race_fetishism
create implication blacked_(phrase) -> race_fetishism
create implication male_qos -> race_fetishism
create implication reverse_qos -> race_fetishism
create implication qos_(race_fetishism) -> race_fetishism
create implication race_fetishism_parody -> race_fetishism
create implication queen_of_hearts_symbol -> race_fetishism
create implication bleached_(phrase) -> race_fetishism
create implication qoh_(race_fetishism) -> race_fetishism

i noticed blacked (phrase) and queen of spades symbol had a lot of mistags so i started moving them to other tags that could act as a "catch all" for race play posts, but it has come to my attention that the catch alls i made aren't useful if they don't actually catch all of it.

someone has been tagging any spade (shape) that seems to imply a Queen of Spades (a woman with preference for black men) as queen of spades symbol, even when that spade looks like just a normal spade tattoo, just so they could blacklist it altogether, so imo it would be useful to have a proper tag for it

i had picked blacked female as the tag name because people were mistagging blacked (phrase) so i thought they were just typing "blacked" in the autocomplete. or maybe it's from when the tag was called blacked (meme)? either way it's probably better if it's something more generic like qos because, for context:

1. "queen of spades" is a slang for swingers women that prefer black men, it's abbreviated QoS and that's probably the most popular tag of its kind on pixiv with 25k posts, https://dic.pixiv.net/a/QOS. in order to not use this abbreviation, we would need a qualifier because queen of spades can mean the playing card.

2. "blacked" is another slang for having sex with black men, but it's also a maker of interracial pornography stylized in all caps. half of blacked (phrase) are characters wearing merch with this company's logo.

3. "race play" is technically a term for sexual racism / racism as a fetish. it's kind of a stretch to say a woman who prefers black men is engaging in race play, but blacklisters probably have this perception because they'd've blacklisted QoS after encountering offensive artwork involving race play that also featured spade tattoos. in practice it probably doesn't matter but i don't feel it's exactly the same thing.

4. because "queen" is female the male term would be "king", but practice it's more often "jack" because it tends to overlap with submission and cuckolding. and then the actual symbols end up split into a spade with Q for queen, with K for king, with J for jack and sometimes with a beta symbol for "beta male" (i'm not making this up btw). but in real, actual practice most QoS artwork with tattooed males is going to be a trap anyway so artists just use the "Q" spade tattoo instead of K, J or β.

5. this isn't even the only symbol that can imply QoS because there is also a kind of heart tattoo with a spade in negative space with a bunny inside that implies the character is a "snowbunny" (snowbunny is another slang for having sex with black men)

queen of spades symbol
jack of spades symbol
beta variant
a girl with a spade tattoo. this is probably not related to QoS at all

some of these images are from temporary tattoos sold online but i couldn't find one with a "K" in it which probably means it's so minor nobody even sells it so i'm not sure if all of these need to be separate tags. i tagged them as i found them for exhaustiveness and i've gone through 500 of the 1.2k posts in queen of spades symbol, but king of spades symbol is so far only found in deleted posts. maybe they should be grouped into male qos symbol so they are still taggable at least.

6. of course there can also be some post out of there that lacks any of these symbols but the sexual preference is stated from dialogue or commentary, idk if people who blacklist things would want to blacklist this sort of thing too but the tag needs to be vague just in case

i don't want to go around removing the queen of spades symbol from simple spades just for it to get added back by someone else because they blacklisted the tag :/

another possibility would be to rename queen of spades symbol to qos symbolism and make all of this stuff imply it, but that probably wouldn't cover all of it either and it also sounds too nerdy

BUR #51474 has been rejected.

rename snowbunny_tattoo -> snowbunny_symbol
create implication snowbunny_symbol -> race_fetishism

a BUR to keep this as a separate tag. probably a good idea to change this to symbol so people don't autocomplete it from bunny_tattoo by accident

i guess then you would tag it just tattoo + snowbunny tattoo instead of heart tattoo + spade tattoo + rabbit tattoo? would the spade even count as a tattoo if it's in negative space?

I don't know about nor care for the contents here but qos is not a good tag name, it's way too cryptic. It needs to be something moderately descriptive.

it's not much different from bdsm, cbt and other acronyms. it's also the tag used on pixiv, so i don't think it's that cryptic for people who actually search for or blacklist this genre of content. if you have an idea for a better name please suggest it.

Yeah, but those are widely known acronyms, this is a niche type of online porn that most people aren't familiar with to begin with, let alone to the point of the acronym being immediately recognizable in the way something like BDSM is.

i understand your argument but i think if everything is grouped under the qos tag then at least there is going to be a single tag that you can blacklist.

let's say that this BUR gets rejected just because the name of the tag is bad and nobody suggested a better tag name. in that case you still won't be able to blacklist all of this with a single tag and people are still going to mistag posts deliberately in order to put individual the posts in their blacklists. i don't see how that would a better outcome than just using a tag name most people aren't familiar with.

I have no understanding what this tag is supposed to be tagging, so I'll abstain from giving an opinion.

With that said though, to further complement what ANON TOKYO and Confetto said, "qos" not only is cryptic but also ambiguous. If I search qos on Google right now I get "Quality of Service", which is a description for network service performance, and judging by your BURs, I don't think that's what you are referring to here.

You can't just come up with an idea and blame others when the name sucks. This was your idea, the least you could do is come up with a better name.

I see no reason why you keep making these burs for these types of tags, also per your comment would it not be better to use "qos porn?" As others have mentioned, "qos" can also be used for "Quality of Service", it's a pretty vauge term

With all due respect, I'll be passing on that.

But to further complement what I mean: Wikipedia gives no definition to what that qos means while it gives multiple meanings to cbt, including to what the cbt we tag here stands for. Why not just tag it qos porn as you said?

just to be clear, you want me to tag posts like these with "qos porn"?

Like I've mentioned before, I have no idea what you are trying to tag exactly. What I'm arguing is that just qos will not work; It's ambiguous and cryptic.

i have changed the BUR so the tag has a (fetish) qualifier. is that better?

Nuke the tags. The user ruined a simple system where interracial and raceplay spade symbol and the like regardless of the Q was under queen_of_spades_symbol. It still a raceplay symbol and it was manageable across multiple popular imageboard. Doesn't matter it has a "snowbunny" symbol, it goes under "queen of spades" because it literally raceplay in porn term.

Blacked_female, blacked_male, and femblacked are redundant because it too ambiguous since it means interracial and dark-skinned_male/female. Blacked_(phrase) is simple tag if you looking for posts with that wording and not because there's dark skin person in the post. I considered those three tags having rule34.xxx logic because the rampant mistagging of use of "blacked" even though the posts does not have the wording. Hell, they used the tag as an sexual act tag and same thing with "bleached." It's all raceplay/interracial BS.

Majority of people are not going to Danbooru to look up this kink except the people who like to waste their upload limits or abuse their Contributor role to increase tagcount. They can go to rule34 or the respective fetish booru for that stuff. Also, your new tags make it a pain in the freaking ass to blacklist because it get too specific of raceplay tags

gyberus, if the BUR passes you'll only need to blacklist qos (fetish) because every other race play tag will imply it. you won't have to blacklist 5 different tags.

It would be queen_of_spades_(fetish)/(kink)/(raceplay) and again no one will look up qos because it commonly known as "quality of service" to common people on the Internet and not raceplay kink

Blacked_male, blacked_female, and femblacked should be alias to just raceplay judging how the tagged posts doesn't contain any wording relating to blacked_(phrase) or symbol falling under queen_of_spades_symbol but still signify race fetishism.

Alternatively, we could copy how e621 handled the tagging by renaming blacked_(phrase} to blacked_(kink) or something similar and have it implicate raceplay.
