A Holy Knight Digimon. Alphamon is a massive armored Digimon with a cape and wings. It is a natural carrier of the X-Antibody and displays it as a red triangle on its forehead. It is a member of the Royal Knights, and acts as the group's leader when present.
Alphamon is the Vaccine-attribute Ultimate form of the troubled DORUmon; its evolutionary brethren are DORUgoramon and Death-X-DORUgoramon. Its titles are "Aloof Hermit" (孤高の隠士, Kokou no Inshi) and "Empty Seat" (空白の席, Kuuhaku no Seki), both making reference to its habit of disappearing without a trace.
It can merge with Ouryumon, at which point it is referred to as Alphamon Ouryuuken. In this form, Ouryumon turns into a blade for Alphamon to wield, and its wings show more prominently.
