The protagonist of the manga and anime series Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters. He is a young boy whose body becomes inhabited by the spirit of an Ancient Egyptian pharaoh Atem (known for most of the series as Yami Yugi) when he completes the Millennium Puzzle. His signature card is the Dark Magician. He is a modern reincarnation of Atem.
