Artwork that is made by the official company/artist of a series or character. May have the copyright, company, or artist names emblazoned somewhere on the picture, as well as a copyright notice.
Not to be confused with official style, which is when fanart tries to imitate the style of official art, or official artist extra, which is unofficial fanart drawn by the official artist.
