    Not sure but I think the creatures next to baby Waluigi (who was announced for the new Mario Tennis) are from Fossil Fighters? I do know the person holding the Virtual Boy is Nester from the old Nintendo Power comics from the 90's (whose only actual video game appearance was on the Virtual Boy, too).
