By the way, in the Simplified Chinese-speaking world, the character on the left is often called 剑士麟(Swordswoman Rin) or 麒麟剑师version(KiRin Swordswoman version) -- KiRin is a nickname. It seems people there connect the name to a character from Hideyuki Kikuchi’s novel The Sword of the Dead(しびとの剣). In Japan, though, no one says it comes from The Sword of the Dead, and I don’t think that’s correct either.
