No worries, you can extend the security update support for win10 until the 13th october 2026 with Microsofts ESU program. That's another 12 months of not having to deal with win11.

Well if you don’t mind me asking, what do you think of it? I imagine for a lot of general users, it should still be fine?

Pretty much. It's not like people who aren't going to participate with Microsoft ESU will suddenly end up with a infected paperweight in less than 24 hours. If you've caught up with all the updates and aren't doing any browsing in the shady parts of the internet, you can safely continue with your Windows 10 machine for the foreseeable future.
The big red flag for me imho is when major developers of things like software suites, browsers, office packages, corporate stuff, start dropping support for Windows 10. Then the big cracks will start to form in your PC security and I would consider migrating if you haven't already.
For now, just keep going, but do start thinking of your future plans for your PC. Either thinking of upgrading the required parts, swapping to a completely new PC, or jumping to a completely different OS like one of the numerous flavours of Linux.
Of course, if we are talking about a PC that isn't connected to the internet at all you can safely ignore everything said here.

I can't say I'm particularly tech-savvy, but I imagine it'll be enough for most users. Although looking into it a bit more it seems like only the 2 most severe threat levels are covered (critical and important), so I can't say with confidence that it'll be enough. Anyway, here's a link to the British info page about the ESU program (sidenote, the requirements vary depending on region so make sure to change it to whatever region you live in) for those who are interested.
