“Rai-nee, stop zapping my spirits! Yuki-nee, don’t ice my portals! Big sis, carry me! And… Reiko-nee? You smell like sake…!”

A cozy tatami room at dusk, lanterns glowing softly.
Cherry blossom petals drift through an open shoji screen.
The five Oni sisters—Reika, Reiko, Yukine, Raine, and Meiki—gather around a tea tray with mochi and sake.

Meiki slumps into a cushion, her black robes pooling like shadows. Half-lidded, she mumbles, “The dark… it wants more tea…”

Reika sways her fan gently, smiling warmly.
“Meiki, dear, falling asleep? Shall I have a shikigami brew you some tea?”

Reiko chugs sake, grinning.
“Yo, Mei! Let’s get loud before you doze off!”

Meiki chews mochi sleepily.
“Reiko-nee…too loud, you’ll wake the ghosts…”

Reiko’s eyes sparkle.
“Ghosts?! Where? Introduce me!”

Oba-J awakes.
“Huh? Deadline…!? Noooo! ” and disappear…

Yukine slides a teacup over, muttering softly,
“Tea is time. Each sip freezes the past.”

Reika hides a chuckle behind her fan.
“Yukine, playing poet? That’s surprisingly deep.”

Reiko laughs loudly.
“Yuki, you’re a brainiac!”

Raine whispers in Meiki’s ear, giggling.
“Mei-chan, wake up! Let’s hide Reika-nee’s fan!”

Meiki yawns.
“Rai-nee… we’ll get in trouble…”

Reika tilts her head, smiling.
“Oh, Meiki, Raine, I can hear your little scheme.”

Reika laughs softly.
“Dear Meiki, even half-asleep, you’re adorable.”

Meiki rubs her eyes.
“Big sis… stop teasing… the dark likes me quiet…”

Reiko slaps her shoulder.
“You say creepy stuff, but you’re too cute!”

Yukine murmurs,
“Cherry blossoms fall. But the dark is forever.”

Raine grins.
“Whoa, Yuki-nee, cool! But Mei-chan, you planning to sleep forever?”

Meiki’s head flops onto Yukine’s shoulder, snoring softly.
“…Love my sisters… in this world and the next…”

Raine panics.
“Hey, Mei-chan! Don’t drag us to the next world…yet!”

Reika drapes a blanket over her. “Little princess, dream sweetly.”

The sisters clink cups, fireflies twinkling outside.
