I may be wrong since I'm not an artist yet, but I think what has been bothering me when enjoying S-syogo's art was a lack of depth and distance. Looking back at some of the images with more dynamic poses, and Chen's arms and limbs in this image, I'm noticing some flatness. But again, time and practice will solve it. On the other hand, I see the significant improvement in the already-fabulous coloring techniques which were S-syogo's specialty.
Hmm... thinking through it, I think S-syogo's skill would shine the most in game CG artworks.
