Misleading ending is misleading. You're probably still stuck in Moon Cell with your Servant of choice since you really did have a body and weren't a data anomaly like Twice was.
Well not exactly, you're not connected to your body like how all the other masters are. The other masters are spirit hacking their souls into the moon cell while you and Twice are NPC copies of people. There is no connection between the MC and their body, never was one in the first place. The MC is a digital copy of the cryogenic person.
Its like a projector and a white board. If you draw a circle on the projector screen it shows up on the whiteboard, that's what the masters do though the circle shows up in two places there is a clear connection. If you erase the circle on the projector the one on the whiteboard disappears too.
Now if you turn off the projector and draw the same circle on the whiteboard, there's still two circles however they're no longer connected. If you erase or move the circle on the projector the one on the whiteboard is still there.
Its a bit of a weird analogy but i hope that it gets across what I'm trying to say.
