maybe it's just that I've never seen "avenge" used like that but Yukimura Sanada (Saemonza's namesake) was killed by Ieyasu Tokugawa. Would be pretty weird for her to want to avenge Tokugawa's death. Especially when he didn't die in the Siege of Osaka

I guess I should have looked into it a little deeper. It used 討つ , a word I was unfamiliar with, but when I looked it up, it meant attack/destroy/defeat/conquer/avenge, so I just went with the latter term. Given that she has a beef with Ieyasu, it probably does mean "avenge" though, as in "avenge against", and not something simple as "defeat", so I updated the language to use that instead.
How about it, Oryou?
It's got to be Ryouma, right?
There, I'd find the perpetrator behind the assassination of Sakamoto Ryouma...
So I could die together with him!
Heavy

Caesar's nickname uses the Latin pronunciation ("kaesar"), but here she uses the typical English pronunciation ("sheezaa") for the actual Caesar.

That day in the lunisolar calendar corresponds to December 10, 1867, in the Gregorian calendar. On that day, Ryouma was assassinated by someone (still unknown to this day) at the residence of Omiya, a soy sauce merchant who supplied the Tosa domain and offered lodging to him and other Tosa samurai.
