Vihreä Kuula
Fun facts: Vihreät kuulat, or “Green Balls” are small green pear flavored marmalade balls made by Finland’s biggest candy manufacturer Fazer since 1929, originally made in Helsinki, these days they are produced in Lappeenranta. They’ve become a part of Finnish Christmas tradition, something like 25 million are made every year, with around 17 million eaten just during the Christmas season. They have also become somewhat of a yearly meme, they show up every Christmas without fail are very recognizable, making them perfect for some holiday humor.
