Beneath the fragrance fog of Osmanthis and chatter of party goers and inside the Xianzhou Ballroom, could be heard the heavy breathing of a meager girl. Trapped inside the walls of the golden ornament her sweat gave off fumes that were sweet and tender, a result of her most recent perfume concotion going horribly wrong.

The Council had found out and considered this a sin of Phantylia somehow, albeit a minor one, and sent her to service the Xianzhou for the very near future, insolating and thinning her current potent fragrance to calm the nerves of the people, serving a great purpose for their diplomatic favors.

Of one one must pay the price.
