Then it would be a "the tables have turned" moment, 'cause if Crimson 1 were to be our player character [the good guys], Monarch would have to be one of the bad guys. So basically, literally playing from Crimson 1's POV, fighting the "bad guys" [although he himself was one], so in this case it would be a bad thing if Monarch showed up working for Sotoa.
Actually, even though this is just for the funny, it would be interesting if we had to fight a mercenary team working for the enemy forces like how we had Mimic in Ace Combat 7. But instead of that, they are an actual opposing force, someone genuinely working for Sotoa, like how Galm Team was helping the allies during the Belkan war, rather than them being assassins hired to kill us, like Mimic squadron.
