    Well seeing as that the arm was the only thing there, follow by Reimu's face covered with a dark splatter, I'm gonna say that Marisa lost an arm and a friend that thousand years ago.

    If you closely look at the panel where Marisa's holding the Shanghai Doll, and the last panel, it shows that both of her hands are present.

    Not the same Marisa yo. This is 1000 years after Reimu was sealed. Even Reimu made the mistake and said that this one reminded her of Marisa.
