I am suddenly reminded of an old joke. A mother worries herself sick over her six year old son who has not once ever spoken. Then one day out of the blue he ask her to pass the salt. She about faints dead but recovers to ask him why he's never spoken before. He shrugs and points out that up till now everything has been great.
