ヘイケボタル "Heikebotaru" is a species of firefly in Japan, smaller than the ゲンジボタル "Genjibotaru" firefly. Each were likely named after the Heike and Genji clans, better known as the Taira and Minamoto clans, rivals in the Genpei war.
