What is up with all the pics of Phoebe in Endfield? Is it a VA joke?

There's a meme image of Phoebe holding up wires, and it got very popular in the CN Endfield community. Some people even believed she was an Endfield original. Since then, the CN and EN community seemed to have accepted her in as an honorary character.

I tried to do some digging for this sticker and unfortunately it looks like, somehow, it may have been generated with AI. Particularly that it started with a sticker of Chen Qianyu trying to hold up wires and how she looked like Phoebe in the sticker, so it was changed to be her. The video in the picture above is a recreation of that AI-modified sticker.

If anyone else has context, corrections or can corroborate this, that'd be great. Would love to have the original sticker uploaded if possible if it isn't AI. Sticker below (but not a first-party source, I don't know where the original comes from).

While I haven't found the cable one, I think that I've tracked down the original artist at the very least: binci
who is active over at https://arca.live/.

They make lots of doodles of various characters, which are then sold as emoji packs for use on Arca.live like the Phoebe pack over here: https://arca.live/e/42655

A large chunck of them were then reposted in May 2025 on this Chinese forum with the majority of them haphazardly translated by overlaying the Korean text with Chinese.

I've tried digging through binci's profile on Arca, but boy their forum system is terrible.
What kind of forum doesn't have a proper "list all posts from this user" option?

That's a lead at least so that's nice. Not sure why the downvote (I did say I wasn't sure if it was AI, since the AI thing was probably what garnered someone's ire), but anyway, it's what I ended up picking up from someone who said they were Chinese and familiar with the meme. Chinese memes can be really hard to track down because they get reposted really hard across Bilibili and NGA among other places, and with no credit to go off of, it was a bit rough to find.

As a Chinese internet user, from what I've learned on Bilibili, the sticker of Chen Qianyu you posted—the one in that "拉电线哈哈" art style—is basically either a traced modification of a Hatsune Miku meme or was generated by AI based on that Miku meme template. Among these, the Phoebe meme imitating that Miku art style became extremely popular. It wasn’t just limited to Endfield-related jokes but spread to many other contexts, including but not limited to gaming. The most famous Phoebe meme series is the "哈哈" series, which gained widespread use in messaging apps due to its contrast-cuteness appeal.
Getting back to the point, the information I came across on Bilibili suggests that the sticker of Phoebe holding wires was actually the starting point of these "拉电线哈哈" style stickers. It originated from Bilibili content creators who turned Phoebe—a character known for her pure and kind-hearted nature in Wuwa—into a meme, pairing her with contrasting text to create a humorous effect. Later, with the release of Endfield, netizens began adapting the Phoebe meme to reference Endfield's wire-pulling mechanics, creating another layer of contrast for comedic purposes.
