Spontaneous two-off bit about this "Mantis" broad from one of those Marvel movies we were all big on half a decade back.
The first one was made about 5 years back, but for whatever (i.e. no) reason 1 year back the second one here was made.
And really I can't say what sparked it; like they quit while they were ahead and wisely stopped making all those Marvel movies after Avengers Endgame, so it's not like I was just last year getting more Mantis exposure in my life or anything.
Perhaps I just nurse a latent fetish for antennaejobs?
