Fourth panel: given what we know about Kyonko's origins, Haruhi's complaint might be, "What did the male me do to her?!" 'Her' works better than 'Kyonko' in this case because the furigana indicating the 'actually said' words are 'ano ko.'

It also emphasizes the irony of Haruhi's question, as the way she's glomping onto Kyon makes it pretty obvious what the male Haruhi might have done to make the female Kyon hate him.

Huh. You're absolutely right. The last panel gave me a big headache, and was the one that took me the most time to translate, as well as being the one I was least confident in.

After reading your explanation, it totally makes more sense.

Any comments regarding Kyonko's line? I was really on the fence on that one too.

Hmm... you mean Kyon's line in that panel? That one is tough, since it's a pun on daku 'to hug' and idaku 'to hold thoughts/feelings about.' To gloss it pretty literally, it would be something like, "Not wrestling with any doubts about that question!!" but that's kind of awkward, and really it's just a punny way of saying, "Isn't it obvious!!"

Edit: also, it should be 'do to her,' and not 'do to you,' in panel four, since Haruhi is talking to Kyon about Kyonko. Kyon is the one in the black cardigan and Kyonko is the one in the white cardigan, so when Kyonko brushed her off Haruhi latched onto Kyon in distress.

Wow, I completely missed they were KyonkoA and KyonkoB, I thought there was only one Kyonko in the comic XD

The line "Gimon o daku you na mondai janee daro!!" in the fourth panel, right?

Internet seems to think that "gimon o daku" is a standard expression meaning "to have doubts about."

So I guess "How can you have any doubt about that?!!"?

So, did "John" disappear in this series or something? I haven't seen a non-genderbent Kyon in any of the new panels.

This is sort of like a separate branch, where instead of "John" getting summoned, "True Kyonko" got summoned; don't ask what Haruhi could have been thinking to make that happen...

Anyhow, this is sort of a diversion for the author to help him get over his writer's block regarding the main story.
