happy to present another one of these contest pieces for Azur 7th anni, it's nice when there's an occasion that motivates me to actually draw smth bigger. I think this is the most characters I've put in one frame before. it's the entire line of Brooklyn class girls in Azur (minus Helena META). that's a lotta in-laws huh... :3

back when I lived near family we'd sometimes all go fishing together. sure it wasn't at a resort or anything like this depiction, just lakes or camping etc, but it was chill. I like to think of the three in front like your vanguard lineup in the game, and they're sorta all working together to get that fish hauled up. when my sisters and I were newer to fishing it'd be sorta frantic if there was actually smth on the line, someone would get the net to help while the other reeled it in.
think the stereotype is usually dads like to go fishing but it was my mom who really liked it in particular lol. it's times like this that you realize how much less time you get to spend with those you love as you get older...
I'll actually be traveling in a couple weeks to visit family, won't really be able to draw during that time so let's see what I can get done before then. after that I'll probably need to figure smth out for Helena's launch day this year❤️
