I'm a bit conflicted on how to translate 元興神, so I left it as "guardian spirit" for now since it seems to kind of fit with Tojiko/Miko relationship.

I don't have a phrase to replace recklessfirex's translation but I have a note about the word. It's 元興神(genkyoukan?) and doesn't see to have any meaning at all, but the reading provided is gagouji which refers to the oni Gagoji or also known as Gagoze, said to be originated in Gangouji pagoda, Nara prefecture. Well known for kidnapping children, often used to scare children as "Gagoze is going to come and....". There are still debates of the youkai's origins.
