Sayaka has such a nice grin. ^^ Why is it though, that Sayaka is often drawn being shorter than Mami? Isn't Sayaka supposed to be the tallest one of the bunch?

I still don't remember any toothy grins, let alone fang ones It was all regular smiley faces, like Madoka has here, or the odd wink like Mami. The milder expressions, basically. One thing about the series is that the facial expressions were never particularly expressive at all, not for anime anyway.

There are a few here and there. http://i.imgur.com/rHi28.png And yeah, for the most part, the characters' expressions are pretty muted. Which is what makes it all the more dramatic when they get very visibly angry or sad.
