Funny thing, the Vulcan Nerve Pinch actually has a chance of working in real life. There's a cluster of baroreceptors near the base of the neck that monitor blood pressure. I share an apartment with two medical students and one student of psychology. I pick up things fast. And the anatomy textbooks can make for interesting reading, as long as you don't have to take exams from it. :D

As for the neck massage, given your nickname, I don't think there's any danger of that happening... :D

I've once done this sort of thing on an annoying boy (who shoved my glasses on my face twice), but the pressure point was more between the shoulder and the neck.

He didn't fell unconscious, but his body just lost the strength and slowly fell onto the ground. He didn't even reacted against the pinching maneuver...

From that day he jolts in a defensive position every time I lift my hand in his direction, even if it is to greet him (that was about 5 years ago).

I was actually referring to the neck-chop that Kirk tends to use to incapacitate people (and which, judging by later series, became part of the standard training at Starfleet Academy).
