In the new patch, yes, but prior to that it was hilariously easy to get MAV kills on certain maps, such as operation metro.

Kinda ironic considering the UAV from BFBC2 was patched in the same way.

You can still do it actually as a great troll tactic. Since in BF3, you get the kill but the MAV Dies. as far as I remember, this was not the case in BC2

Yea, the MAV does roadkill, but as of this patch, you lose it once it hits someone
Last patch it didn't, I seen people bowl over a whole sqauds with one.

Never managed to kill with the MAV, but I love using it on Gulf of Oman to troll the snipers on the construction buildings and cranes, knocking them off after breaking their spawn beacons. Still a wonderful tool.
