In truth...that would be a very bad idea. Reimu learns fast from defeat. I don't think second time she would lose again regardless...unless she signed some contract, with a good donation, she has to lose each time.

I was honestly expecting a "Exterminate all Youkai within Gensokyo" to render it's existence moot, then kill Reimu. It would have been a reference to her last (in)famous quote.
But instead Sanae goes Mokou-lite. EDIT: Har-Har. I suppose that's okay too.

Seriously doubt it. Reimu is stupidly talented (if she musters up the nerve to fight back she'll find some way to counter Sanae or just use Fantasy Heaven), and someone constantly assaulting her is sure to get the attention of others. I can see Marisa interfering, and if Sanae manages to kill Marisa, Reimu will destroy her. They may not be lovers like some fanon portray them as, but Reimu and Marisa are still friends.
What I want to know is why did Reimu kill Suwako and Kanako. They seem to be much friendlier here than in canon (and they are actually pretty darn friendly in canon), and I don't think them becoming competition would be enough to justify killing them for Reimu.
