A bit late to post here, but I just want to say that one among the many things I like in Fire Emblem is that they do female armor right. Those actually look protective and at the same time keep the character's femininity. I mean, they're not skimpy/sexualized/cheap like we see on most of those female warriors.

Yeah, many characters uses simplistic armor only to protect key places (like the breastplates and some other few armor in the Pegasus Knight's case); or have like Petrine or the Dragon Knights, armor that protect many places (even if Petrine has a little cleavage, it still protect her chest).
Well... Unless your name is Camilla and your armor lacks sense.
