    Fun (for some definition of fun) fact; it seems that from background information, the exact identity of Mickey's F-14 can be determined. From what I gather, backstory gives it as an IIAF-bound aircraft impounded due to the 1979 Iranian Revolution. This makes it US Navy BuNo 160378 (c/n H80; IIAF serial would have been 3-6050), the last of Iran's order of 80 and the only one not delivered for that reason. (In the real world, it was taken up by the USN and put in service with the Pacific Missile Test Center after a period of storage.)
