I thought vampires weren't keen on the presence of crucifixes.

    Remilia canonically likes them.

Vampire lore is the most inconsistent of any mythological creature.

Is that Greek or Russian on the tomb? Either way I'm pretty sure it says "Remilia Scarlet."

That's Greek lettering. No idea if it's actually correct, mind.

It's not actually a crucifix unless it depicts Jesus on it, anyway. There's not much said about them being repelled by crosses alone as far as I know....but like Pumpkin Eater said, lol consistency.

More like the Japanese just messed around when they adopted our vampires.

It is Greek as PK said, though what it actually says is "Remilia Swharlet". He should have used "κ" instead of "χ".

Welp, Remilia is going to be pissed if she ever learns what her tomb/throne says.

It's actually entirely canon that crosses have no effect on Remilia at all, and that she actually quite likes the imagery of them. Hell one of her spellcards is a cross.

Also expecting any kind of serious consistency with Touhou. Oh you kidder.

Even in Western fiction writers will add and remove things. Aversion to crosses, super strength, and the ability to transform are some of the traits that frequently switch on and off.

And let's not even bring in how fragmented European lore is on vampires, every region carries its own set of weaknesses, powers, habits, and ways to kill them.
