Of course, if you ship Hakurei Miko with Rinno, doesn't that mean Reimu is Rinno's daughter/granddaughter/great-granddaughter?

You'd have to eventually say she did it with someone else or else it makes the Reimu being yandere keeping Sanae away from him kinda...

I remember that somewhere in the game said that the Hakurei miko is picked by Yukari, anyone she sees fits. SO Reimu isn't necessarily related to Rinnosuke. Or..so my memory tells me. I have a bad memory.

I don't remember that, and I'm almost completely certain that the Hakurei Miko's powers are hereditary. (One of the early PC-98 enemies was a distant relative of Reimu's, who wanted to become the main clan branch...) Maybe Yukari decides which Hakurei gets to be the Hakurei miko, but this isn't just something where anyone who picks up the magic gohei becomes the new Reimu.
