comment #9779 Slight curves, yes, but trust me, most of my friends did not have those kind of curves at that age, and I know I didn't, not to say that I have really nice curves now.
i had those curves, and so do my sisters. my parents would always tightly wrap cloth around our waists when we were still infants, and that is why we have natural curves.
Curves not only differ between individual girls (obviously) but also betwee nationality. As a general rule, the more northern you get the larger the hips to the point that generally, Indian and Pakistani girls will have slim hips whereas girls near the pole have HUEG child-bearing hips.
I'd say overall, though, that by about 8 or 9 onwards, girls will start to get distinctly different bodies from boys, with the torso going into the waist and hips higher up and what not. Not to write a mini-essay or anything, but the nationality thing is the same for breast size. Apparently it's common practice in more equatorial areas to actually import British women to be bra models as they tend to have much larger breasts compared to body mass than the women of their own region.
Eh... I guess what I'm saying by all this is that this drawing is neccessarily unrealstic in that sense, but probably is for Japansese girls at least.
