I get the same feeling, the trailer has it using a move that looks like a psychic type. So long as it's not fighting again.

I get from this personification a vibe from a young Tamamo (Mon-Musu Quest!). That attack from the trailer (after your classical Flamethrower) looked similar to Confuse Ray for me.

I thought this was Kaname Madoka on fire from the thumbnail.
