Wow, Setz has some pretty good English from the looks of it. Is this his writing, or did someone translate it for him?

He might have done it himself. Some of the commentary for his images on Pixiv is in English.

Besides, English in practically the lingua franca of the internet, if not the entire world.

I wasn't sure as I haven't been looking at Pixiv that much. Not too surprised, its just none of his other work here has been, so I did not expect it.

English is taught as a mandatory subject in Finnish schools. Usually starting at the third grade. His Touhou 4komas started out as inside jokes on a Finnish imageboard, hence the Finnish language.

I feel like playing Dark Souls JUST so I can get the context of the humor in these comics.

Setz is Finnish. By the time Finns graduate they have a better domain of English than Americans. [citation needed]
