But canonically does not equal the strength of an oni. The only thing that tengu and oni can match each other is when drinking. In a fight one good hit on Aya and she is down for the count. Oni do have endurance that match their strength and tengu do not have the endurance to match their speed. I am basing this on folklore and myth so yeah.
Yes I wasn't talking about strength alone though. Her overall fighting ability is greater than she lets on. Tengu are also martial arts masters.
