Then there's the stubby fingers on the right hand, which should be extended, and don't look like they're curled, leaving only one explanation...

That being that they're balled up into a fist. Because CLEARLY four invisible finger portions and a thumb are more likely to be cut off than to be placed in a normal hand position.

Except these fingers appear to terminate at the medial phalanges. While it is possible to bend only the distal phalanges (I can do it, too), that requires that the rest of the finger is locked in extension, and the bend quite simply cannot reach 90°, so some of the nails should still be visible. Judging by the lack of such nails, and the proportion of the proximal and medial phalanges to the metacarpals, which are roughly equal, I'd say the rest of the fingers were amputated.
However, the thumb is still there, intact (it's visible in the shadow of her dress).
