Pixiv description indicates she just closes up at night like a flower when she sleeps, then opens up again in the morning when she wakes up.

It was kinda weird to put the events of the next strip after that. I thought the two were related.

Just noticed Kyouko's using her paintbrush as a broom in the first panel, making it twice as adorable.
