Have to admit, that doesn't look uncomfortable. My main fault would be the fact it lacks an oven for baking purposes. Or for that matter, a refrigerator.
This looks like it would be pretty comfortable to live in.

The microwave could be a a combination unit incorporating a grill and oven, I've owned a couple of them. I was wondering about a fridge/freezer too, though that could be placed under the microwave, leaving just enough space under the hob and sink area for pots, pans, utensils etc... and some food.
The one big thing that appears to be missing is a toilet, though maybe thats in the part of the shower cubicle you can't see.
Most Japanese homes do not have an oven. So microwave and range would make sense with this illustration. Not unlike other countries there are motorhome "parks" for winnebagos in Japan. So exclusion of a toilet would be "OK" in this instance.
