They already know that, and in fact Sukuna is called a Inchling. I think many wanted to keep "Kobito" because it's more Japanese-like, like Youkai, Oni or Tengu.

I'm sure the artist actually took the translation from the wiki.

Terajin's Shinmyoumaru is probably the cutest Shinmyoumaru I've seen so far. I didn't even like Terajin's art much before, but since recently, I'm starting to be a huge fan.

Based on the size of the butterfly (it's a Kale Butterfly, there are several subspecies), I'd say the picture is very close to natural size on my 17" laptop.

*thinks about it for a moment*

    *faints from moe overload*

If you go by the size of the Kale Butterfly (or Small White, as it is often called), what you see here is an almost 1:1 scale image of Sukuna, if slightly larger.

Precisely my point. When looking at the image, I can imagine her running around on my desk.

Less "Japanese-like", more "consistency", really. It's already bad enough that we have so many translations, and half-translations, and transcriptions all supposedly at peace simply because of the bandwagons formed around them. Using "youkai", "oni", and "tengu" but also "inchling" is a huge problem, and there's just not much else to be done except to nuke it from orbit or to [be completely evil and] condemn consistency until it's convenient.

I say translation is bad not because there's anything wrong with the concept, but because the execution has been fundamentally broken to the point where it needs to be rethought entirely and maybe even given a new term for itself. I also say humans are fundamentally broken precisely because they tell me the previous is desirable, that condemning principles until they're convenent is desirable.

    Slow down there, Calvin.
