Swastikas have been used in both directions in many different contexts around the world before Hitler decided to use it for the Nazi Party. The Finns used to have a blue clockwise swastika on a white roundel as the symbol for their air force.

Adding the error tag because the swastika on the armband is counterclockwise, which is the "wrong" way in this context (note that it's the only one in the picture that isn't clockwise)
