This was the best I could think of, so please correct it as necessary.

I'd say it's ok since the context of that bubble seems to be all the same.
Anyways, what's with he asterisk in that one translation and who's the tentacle gardener?

Oh, well, thought I'd get someone to judge that specific word whether its fine or not.

As for tentacle gardener, that would be Patchouli as per post #1419100

Actually, 苗床もやし wasn't supposed to be separated. Updated the translation and added a tn.

the original term is "seed nursery beansprout", an idion for a weak, asthenic person.

Only もやし means weakling.

Actually, it's not.
Originally it was suppose to be 触手の苗床(tentacle seedbed), but later on it was shorted to just 苗床 and became a repeating gag for everyone to call her by that.
So 苗床もやし is a combination of (abusing) words that are both used to refer to Patchouli.
