Lynette is half-Canadian by blood though she was born in England/Britannia. Her mother is based off a real-life Canadian ace though Lynette's backstory has her definitely being born in England, as in the manga they point out that despite her sister Wilma being born in England she joined the Canadian Air Force in honor of her mother.
