An old, unused shrine
Residents have long-since passed
One still remains, though

Thoughts of happy times-
Times that have long since moved on,
She misses them so!

The maiden has left
"It is my duty to go!"
It was so long ago

The sake has run dry
The shrine is cold and lifeless
A victim of time's flow

Left with her regret
"Why did I choose to remain?
And Why'd she have to go...?"

This makes me sad.
