I believe start was disabled for some time during the game. Also, new system now let people take votes for which buttons to be used.

Really took the fun out of all the chaos and anarchy now.

The players have reached a consensus, in that they'll only use Democracy in parts where extreme precision is needed (Safari Zone, i.e.), and Anarchy for the rest, to keep the original flavor of the experiment while still ensuring there is some sort of progress.
