Sigh... why did they have to create so many "waifu"-like SCPs? I mean, Japan's history is rich with supernatural horror, why don't they tap into that pool rather than make everything look cutesy? I am merely wondering as I was genuinely excited to see how the SCP-JP wiki would turn out (thankfully it is turning out a lot better than during it's initial creation).

There were lot of things there that weren't exactly that interesting (there are nuggets of gold scattered around though). I mean the SCP is about various forms of horror, especially existential ones and the ratio of "Waifu"-scps to more horror themed ones is a bit depressing (sorry, *was* a bit depressing, the past years things have shifted quite a bit).

Sounds like the JP SCP community is having to relearn the lessons the US community learned over many years.
