Eating too many carrots can bring in too much beta-carotene. This can lead to excess blood carotene which can discolor the skin yellow or orange, a condition known as carotenemia. It's reversible simply by not eating so much carotene, though it can also lead to deficiencies in other nutrients, not only those that carrots do not possess, but because of the increased fiber.

I think Kaguya means the same as eating so much of something that you can't stand the thought of eating any more of it.

Actually carrots are bad for rabbits. The sugar content in carrot are too high for rabbits.

Non-cartoon rabbits eat mostly hay and green leafy things. If you give a rabbit a carrot with the green top still on it, it will disregard the carrot part and eat just the top. It'll be like, "What's this orange shit?"

Apparently the whole carrot thing started because the original bugs bunny cartoon, the part where he chomps a carrot and asks whats up doc is actually a reference to a very old movie where someone who isn’t a rabbit does the same thing.
