I'm getting the feeling that the character designers from Kantai Collection are ripping-off the character designs from Touhou.

Fact: Some of the Kancolle's character designers used to be Touhou illustrators, well some of them are still doing Touhou artworks. Take this guy for an example, he is the one who designed Tama and Kiso.
